Baby Shower Gift Ideas
What do you buy as a gift for a Baby Shower? Here are a few important things you need to know before you start shopping for the Baby Shower!
Have you been invited to another family member, or a friends baby shower?
And you have no idea what gift to give as a gift?
In some ways you can’t wait to start shopping for the baby shower!
However… when you walk into the store you realise how many different choices of gifts there are available.
… And quite frankly you do want to give something that will stand out, and be something that people remember.
But, before you leave to do your shopping, there are a few important things you will need to ask:
- Do the parents know if it is a boy or a girl? or, are they wanting a surprise?
- Is it a multiple birth? Multiple births are very common nowadays, so make sure you ask!
- Have the parents decided on any specific colours, or themes for the baby room?
- Do the parents have any specific preferences i.e. cloth nappies or disposable nappies?
You will want to get as much info together before you leave to go shopping, as shopping for a baby shower can be both costly and it can also take a lot of time, especially if you don’t know what products or gifts are available for baby.
As a Suggestion: It’s a good time to get together with your friends and put spend your money by buying a bigger gift, something that the new parents are going to be able to use and absolutely have a lot of fun with!
One great idea is to create a huge nappy cake that is made up either of disposable nappies and/or reusable nappies (make sure you find out from the new parents first).
Once you have put all the nappies in a really great shape, look online for great ideas of how to put it together, and then you can add to it with extras like toys and blankets to make it look absolutely amazing.
A really great addition to the nappy cake is to add some baby lotions, baby shampoo and baby nappy cream; these are always useful for the new parents.
As a Suggestion: The AQI Baby Range is a great range for babies and toddlers, it is Tear free, soap free, safe enough for daily use on newborns and babies with sensitive skin. Click Here to find out more
